Khloe Kardashian is officially stepping into the snack aisle. Her latest venture, a consumer food brand called Khloud, is making its debut with a high-protein popcorn hitting Target shelves nationwide on April 29. Backed by heavyweights like Serena Ventures, WME, and Shrug Capital, the launch marks Kardashian’s first move into the world of packaged snacks.

While whispers of Khloud began circulating late last year, it’s now clear the brand has secured solid footing. Initially seeking to raise $10 million, the startup closed an oversubscribed $12 million round, with investments from K5 Global and other notable firms. The blend of celebrity influence and venture capital might just give this new snack line the edge it needs in a crowded category.

The flagship product? A guilt-free, crunchy popcorn made from whole-grain corn and dusted with what the company calls “Khloud Dust” — a unique seasoning blend infused with milk protein that delivers a satisfying seven grams of protein per serving. It’s designed for those craving better-for-you options without sacrificing flavor. And while Target will be the first major retailer to carry it, Khloud will also be available online via its direct-to-consumer site.

But for Kardashian, this is only the beginning. In her own words, she hinted that popcorn is just the first step in a broader plan to rethink everyday snacking. “We plan to expand into other snacking categories across the store,” she said. “There’s so much room to reimagine everyday snacks.”

Khloe Kardashian emphasized that her brand aims to offer cleaner, healthier snack alternatives that don’t skimp on taste. With the Kardashian-Jenner family already dominating categories from skincare to home goods, venturing into pantry staples seems like a natural — and potentially lucrative — progression.

In a celebrity landscape overflowing with beauty lines and alcohol brands, Khloud carves out a fresh niche. As consumers become more label-conscious, and high-protein, clean-label snacks continue to trend upward, Kardashian’s latest move may prove she knows how to spot the next big thing — and how to turn it into a business empire.
