xAI has just pushed Grok into a new dimension—your physical world. With the launch of Grok Vision, the chatbot can now “see” through your iPhone camera and respond to what’s in front of you. This turns Grok from a voice-based assistant into a real-time visual companion. You simply open the app, point your phone, and ask, “What am I looking at?” Grok then reads the scene and gives a useful response, right on the spot.
While tools like ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini already offer visual AI features, Grok Vision aims to stand out with its simplicity. One catch, though—it’s currently only available for iPhone users. Android support is coming soon, but there’s no timeline yet.
In addition to vision, xAI added more upgrades. Grok now supports voice interactions in multiple languages. You can talk to it in Spanish, French, Turkish, Japanese, and Hindi. It also includes real-time search—letting Grok pull fresh web results while you speak. You don’t need to stop and type; it’s all hands-free and fast.
All these features are part of the SuperGrok plan, priced at $30 per month. While Android users don’t have access to Vision just yet, they can use the multilingual voice and live search options.
This is just the latest in a series of updates. Earlier this month, xAI added memory to Grok. Now, the bot can recall past conversations and build on them. It also rolled out a new canvas tool. This lets users create documents and apps directly inside the chatbot.
